Medicare Advantage Plans

Medicare Advantage Plans, also known as "Part C" or "MA Plans," are a viable alternative to securing your Medicare Part A and Part B coverage. These plans are offered by Medicare-approved private companies that must adhere to guidelines established by the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS). Most Medicare Advantage Plans include drug coverage (Part D), and you will typically need to use health care providers who participate in the plan's network.
Each year, Medicare Advantage Plans establish an out-of-pocket limit for covered services, providing beneficiaries with financial security against excessive health care expenses. While some plans may offer non-emergency coverage out of network, it often comes at a higher cost. It is essential to use the card from your Medicare Advantage Plan to receive your Medicare-covered services, and it is recommended to keep your red, white, and blue Medicare card in a secure place in case you ever switch back to Original Medicare.
Our Legacy Advisors can help you find the right Medicare Advantage Plan for you, taking into account your budget, typical usage, doctor network, travel frequency, medications, and other considerations. We work with many top carriers and will help you determine the best fit. Below are the most common types of Medicare Advantage Plans, and you can click the links to open a new page at Medicare.gov for more information.
